Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Khan played his last international match against World XI in Lahore five years ago and since then he has not got a chance to represent the team in any format of cricket but still he is in news.
Sohail Khan is in the news because of an interview he gave to Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali and in the same interview he told the story of a fight he had with former Indian captain Virat Kohli.
According to Sohail Khan, his fight with Virat Kohli took place during a match of the 2015 World Cup and this is the same match in which he dismissed five players including Virat Kohli for 55 runs.
Sohail Khan says that he believes that 'Virat Kohli is a name, a brand and a great batsman', but he also said that he does not tolerate rudeness.
Referring to the fight, Sohail Khan said that when he came down to the batting ground, 'Virat Kohli came to me and said that it has been eight days of Friday and Friday and you have just come to cricket and you are talking so much.'
According to Sohail Khan, he turned to Virat Kohli and replied, "Son, when you were playing under-19, you were a Test cricketer at that time."
The 38-year-old fast bowler of Pakistan further said that Misbah-ul-Haq was angry on this and asked him to keep quiet.
According to Sohail Khan, the former Indian captain also came in the midst of this fight and said, 'Virat Kohli, come to the side, this is old rice, you don't know it.'
According to cricket coverage website 'Cricinfo', Sohail Khan played his first Test in 2009 against Sri Lanka in Karachi while Virat Kohli played his first Test in June 2011.
Sohail Khan has taken 27 wickets in 9 Test matches, 19 in 13 ODI matches and five wickets in five T20 matches in his career.
On the other hand, Virat Kohli has scored 8 thousand 119 runs in 104 Test matches, 12 thousand 809 runs in 271 ODI matches and more than 4 thousand runs in 115 T20 matches.
