A Chicago woman is in jail for hiding her mother's body in a freezer for nearly two years.

Regina Michalski's body was found this week in a garage freezer near the apartment she shared, police said.
Investigators believe he died in March 2021.

Investigators said they are trying to determine whether Bracher wanted to collect her mother's Social Security benefits.
The daughter of Eva Bracher, who lives in Kentucky, requested the police to check the house after losing contact with her grandmother.
